I strive to teach busy women, just like you, how to create simple, nutrient-dense real food dishes with fresh, seasonal and sustainable produce. One of my missions is to support women in restoring their digestive health, managing stress and reconnecting back with food again, which fits in with their busy schedules!
After advance certifying as a Plant-based Chef at Matthew Kenney Culinary School, writing menus for Beets n Roots, who won Best Bristol Cafe 2019, and through my own personal journey of restoring health through a wholefood way of eating, I have a conscientious and intuitive approach to sourcing and creating health promoting meals. Combining ultimate nutrition, beautiful presentation and a mindful approach every step of the way.

GROUP/ EVENT KITCHEN SESSIONS
In addition Kitchen Sessions are also great for groups and events including parties, hen dos and corporate offerings, which are all designed to be fun, hands-on and packed full of actionable information. Dependent on covid restrictions these can take place in-person or online.
With a big focus on local, seasonal and sustainable food and nutrition, these sessions can be tailor-made to fulfill particular topic(s) and your requirements.

Laura’s Kitchen Sessions are great fun and a good learning experience too. My cooking and flavour combinations have never been very adventurous, I love cooking but am just not confident in being creative and trying new things. The Kitchen Sessions with Laura alongside Laura’s useful tips, tricks and nutrition facts have encouraged me to be more brave to test and try new things on my own.
Laura and I have done three Kitchen Sessions so far. She writes brilliant recipes, all developed just for me to suit my particular health and well-being needs. This whole-foods, hands-on approach is so much fun and yummy too! Laura would send me the recipe beforehand so I could get everything needed ready for the session. The Sessions were really personalised and were also adaptable when I wasn’t able to get products or equipment.
We did our Sessions remotely so I was a bit apprehensive of how this would work. I felt like I might need more hands-on support while cooking and maybe doing this via video would mean I wouldn’t be doing things right. This wasn’t the case! Laura was really good at explaining each step and helping me to balance flavours using my own taste, I was surprised at being able to do all of this without having Laura in the room with me. I have done three Kitchen Sessions with Laura now and each one has taught me new flavour combinations, useful new techniques and new ideas such as how to dress a plate, preparing my own ready-made spice mixes and having a whole-foods, hands-on approach.
The Kitchen Sessions are great value for money and a really fun, sociable and personalised way to gain confidence in the kitchen. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone 🙂

I learned so much during these cooking sessions! I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to make nutritious, salad dressings, lunchbox meals, energy snacks and protein smoothies, all from scratch using local and seasonal produce.

Laura guided me step by step throughout the session with easy and clear instructions whilst explaining all about the flavours of the herbs and spices we were using and how they compliment each other and enhance the dish.
She also gave me information of how the foods benefit me health wise and also some handy tips as we went along.
Laura was so friendly and knowledgeable. I had so much fun making highly nutritious meals and with it being online, it fit into my busy schedule, especially during this strange time with Covid.
