These four elements are essential for the survival of all living beings and serve as powerful guide on how-to live-in synergy with nature. Every breath of air relaxes you, the earth is a reminder to heal and nourish yourself, fire gives you strength and energy and water shows you how to go with the flow.
When you align yourself with these four elements, they can evoke an emotional response that can stimulate your mind, become present, calm our nerves and enrich your life. We look into how these can be brought more into your every day life for optimal health.
NUTRIENT-DENSE, PLANET FRIENDLY, WHOLESOME GLUTEN FREE FOODS
Our focus would be on the importance of consuming a wide variety of high quality, local, seasonal, nutrient-dense and plant-friendly foods. This includes rainbow coloured fruits and vegetables, high quality fats, clean proteins, nuts, seeds, beans, legumes, whole grains, fermented foods, wild foods, sea vegetables, herbs and spices.
A nutrient-dense, wholefoods and rich in plants diet has shown to lower inflammation, which is crucial because studies now prove inflammation is at the root of most diseases. When we eat plenty of high antioxidant foods, it contributes to your disease-fighting nutrients and naturally controls your body’s hunger signals so you know when you’re actually full.
We’ll go on a virtual shopping trip together (soon to be in person I hope!), clean out your pantry and together develop your very own Online Cookbook in Saffron filled with specific recipes just for you!

CROWDING OUT & DECONSTRUCTING CRAVINGS
Many specialists give their clients a list of foods to avoid and foods to eat, which explains why so many people are confused and turned off by nutrition. My approach is different – by eating and drinking foods that are good for you, you will naturally have less room and desire for unhealthy foods. Simply put, you will crowd out the unhealthy food in your diet.
Cravings play a critical role in understanding what your body needs and are best not ignored. When you learn how to deconstruct your cravings and understand what they’re really telling you, you’ll be able to reclaim balance, self-knowing and confidence.
This takes a little practice to make happen, but I support you along the way.
SLEEP
Sleep is slightly different for everyone, however we discover what you uniquely need to get your best zzzzs.
We take a look into everything from your current sleeping habits to your sleeping environment, the hours you sleep to the quality you’re getting.
Night time and morning routines are also something we delve into by trying out ideas, putting them into practice and exploring what works best for you. This could be establishing a new gratitude ritual, filling your favourite water bottle and discovering enjoyable ways of moving your body.
NATURAL MOVEMENT
Simply put regular physical activity is important for your health, longevity, and disease prevention.
Regular healthy movement hugely supports your emotional wellbeing by helping to reduce anxiety and depression and makes you better equipped to handle stress. Exercising regularly can also help your body utilise oxygen and remove carbon dioxide more effectively, so your body can receive optimum levels to function. As well as aiding in the increase of circulation and oxygenation of your cells, helping to keep your skin healthy.
Also great news, exercise is one of the best ways to reduce constipation and support regularity, to help get your digestive system moving daily as it should.
STRESS MANAGEMENT & MIND-BODY CONNECTION
Your body responds to the way you think, feel and act. When you are aware of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours you can very powerfully shift yourself to a better place physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Increasing self-awareness, shifting mindset habits and understanding your gut-brain connection, all help us delve towards the root causes of why you aren’t currently seeing the results you want.
Self care, breathwork, meditation and guided visualisations are included to support regaining your balance, peace and self-confidence.
DETOXIFICATION
We are in constant contact with harmful organisms and pollutants. They’re in our water, in our food, and in the
air we breathe; it’s very difficult to get away from them. The root cause of many health issues are the toxins that have
built up in our bodies over the years. Toxins are any substances like chemicals, metals, pollutants, artificial food ingredients, pesticides, and poisons that cause your body harm.
It’s almost impossible to protect yourself from all the toxins in the environment, however there are ways to prevent them. Your body’s natural detoxification processes exist to deal with the ones we can’t avoid. Practising regular cleansing, can help your body perform these processes.
Whether it’s a food detox, lifestyle detox, or digital detox, this is something which could make all the difference!

After travelling to Ogliastra in Sardinia, I saw first hand how centenarians live. Healthy living is a way of life there. We may not live up in the high mountains but there are so many ways we can integrate their positive habits into our lives.
