Caramel carob, bitter raw cacao, sweet maple syrup, spicy ginger chai, smooth coconut oil and fine sea salt, all make this raw cacao bar one you’ll always want in your fridge!
Yes!! Chocolate can be good for you! AND you especially don’t have to feel guilty about eating this one!
Raw cacao comes from a cacao fruit tree, also known as Theobroma Cacao, which produces cacao pods which are cracked open to release cacao beans. From there, cacao beans can be processed a few different ways. So technically this makes it a fruit!
This drink has been enjoyed throughout many cultures for its health purposes.
- antioxidants of all foods (e.g. 40 x the antioxidants of blueberries) helping your body to protect itself
- magnesium of all foods, encouraging a healthy heart and brain
- plant-based iron
It contains more fiber and calories than cocoa powder since more of the nutrients from the whole bean are still intact. It’s an excellent source of monounsaturated fats, cholesterol-free saturated fats, vitamins, minerals, natural carbohydrates, and protein which makes it an excellent source of nutrients.⠀
This one ticks a lot of boxes!
Sometimes as a treat I add a few chunks of chocolate on top of my Overnight Cinnamon Oats. Go on be good to yourself!

Then add all the ingredients into a pan and whisk until all well combined and you have a smooth texture.
Pour into chocolate bars molds and sprinkle with ginger chai tea leaves.⠀
Put in the freezer to set for 1 hour. The coconut oil will harden so you get a solid bar. Enjoy your own home-made raw and healthy chocolate!
NOTES: You can use any molds that you'd like, it doesn't have to be the size in the picture! Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
