IBS-C is gone, hurrah! I'm much more aware of my mental activity and feel empowered to make real changes in my health/wellbeing. Planning was instrumental to change though. As a pre-cursor to planning, the circle of life was such a useful tool. Stress is much improved! I feel more in control and less worrisome.

Every single recipe is delicious and I cook regularly. I eat breakfast now, and love it. I get a lot more veg in me too, with a focus on cruciferous veg. As well as now drinking a lot less alcohol with the tastiest alternatives!

My overall goal upon starting the Imagine, Revive & Thrive coaching programme was to become more conscious of my health and well-being.

About me: I care about my health, I enjoy food, I love cooking and in the past I used to crave exercise and the positive feelings this resulted in. It’s also important to me that I aim to find purpose in life; I have valued this most through mediation, reflective thinking and being in nature.

But, somehow I got myself into a routine that was taking me away from all those things.

I was neglecting my health and well-being; often not eating breakfast and then prioritising convenience food for lunch and dinner. I was finding excuses not to exercise, or just not thinking about exercise at all. I was writing my daily diary, reflecting on the day - but sometimes it was hard to think of something positive to say. I was missing spending time in nature but was feeling to lacklustre to go out and get some!

My goal was therefore to break out of these habits and start building a sustainable, more health-conscious and happy day to day routine.

After a thorough Health History Consultation, we set SMART goals for the first week and then built on these, at my own pace, after each session - all working towards my final goal. Laura guided me through lots of useful information, facts, ideas, options and stories to help me learn and understand what I was doing/aiming to do and why.

Laura also sent me follow up emails after each session with all the notes from our conversation as well as useful templates, info-graphics, cheat-sheets, visual guides, YouTube clips, pros and cons sheets, and much more, all to support me with my goals for the week.

One thing I also really valued was feeling like Laura had my back throughout. For example, I could send her a quick message if I needed to ask her opinion on something or whether she could help with a particular challenge/question.

Before starting the Imagine, Revive and Thrive Coaching Programme I was feeling really stuck in unhealthy habits and couldn’t see how I would be able to change my daily routine, even though I knew I wanted to. Since beginning the programme with Laura, I have noticed a number of small but very meaningful changes, as well as some big ones.

I really like that the programme didn’t feel like a ‘quick-fix’ or a ‘fad-diet’. Laura offered support and guidance but always empowering me to make my own decisions that would suit me personally. This programme wasn’t about Laura instilling a certain life-style on me, but more about her supporting me to make my existing life-style better.

My main goals were to lose weight and improve my skin health. Laura was able to help me work towards these goals by shifting the way I eat and look at food, plus integrate sustainable lifestyle shifts.
